The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 27 at 9 a.m. in the staff room. PAC meetings will run for ONE HOUR; if you have anything to add to the agenda, please email email@example.com before Friday, September 22. Any items emailed after that date will be pushed to October's meeting.
We are still looking for a Treasurer and Secretary to round out our Executive team. If you are interested or have questions about either role, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Nominations and elections will take place at the first meeting on September 27, when we will also approve and adopt our new budget for the year. The budget can only be adopted if we have an acting Treasurer in place.
Please also keep an eye out for the first Hot Lunch order - the first Hot Lunch is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 26. We need full class lists from school administration in order to set up this year's MunchaLunch system, so turnaround for ordering may be quick for this first order. At the last PAC meeting in May, attending parents voted to try a new Hot Lunch service though Fuel Catering (www.fuelcaterting.ca), which offers healthy, homestyle hot lunches that follow the provincial Healthy Schools guidelines. They also offer gluten-free options, and operate out of a peanut/tree nut free facility - check out their website for full allergen information.
