Suncrest PAC News Update

The busy holiday is fast-approaching and there is plenty on the to-do list here at Suncrest! 

First and foremost, our Pancake Breakfast is coming up and there are still some volunteer spots open. We are missing a few cooks so if you feel like flipping a few pancakes, please be sure to sign up online! 

Holiday fundraising efforts are now underway, and include Purdy's Chocolates and gift card purchases, with proceeds going towards meeting this year's PAC budget items including classroom supplies and supplementary resources for teachers, special events and technology.  Coffee and Poinsettia sales are also taking place, with those proceeds benefitting the Grade 7 class for graduation events.

In other news: Minutes from the last PAC meeting are now online. One major highlight to note is the approved purchase of a new Earthquake/Emergency Response Kiosk to replace to small, rusted out kiosk we currently have.  The dedicated Earthquake Committee is working with the District to determine placement on school property; once the kiosk is District-approved, purchased and placed, the committee will focus on restocking with necessary supplies.
