Suncrest PAC communication is now almost exclusively online, with regular updates and information at the click of a mouse. Traditional paper communications including agendas and newsletters have been replaced by online posts right here on our website, which includes a Contact Us page for any questions regarding PAC initiatives. You can also let us know if you are able to coordinate a fundraising event! Check out the FUNDRAISING tab on the website menu for more info on fundraising opportunities.
PAC email is checked at least once a week, so please allow one week for us to respond to your enquiry.
You may still find the odd piece of paper in your child's backpack, such as meeting reminder slips and volunteer forms. After experimenting with online sign-up for school events, we have found we have better success gathering volunteers with old-school paper forms.
NEXT PAC GENERAL MEETING: Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 9 a.m. in the school staff room. A Burnaby Parks & Rec rep will be there to talk to us about upcoming after-school programs and garner feedback about what Suncrest parents would like in the future. We will also be deciding if/how much money from the BC Gaming Account should be given to the school in support of the Tennis School Wide Program, and discussing logistics for the Pancake Breakfast happening Dec. 22.
One last reminder: Orders and payments for the NOV/DEC hot lunch session are due by 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Please pay when you submit your order - unpaid orders as of the deadline will be cancelled.
